HR Business Partner, Operations – Supply Chain

HR Business Partner, Operations – OpX & Production Chiefs

The HR Business Partner is a strategic individual contributor who provides human resources leadership to key business initiatives. This role is responsible for supporting senior leaders to drive the talent agenda, build organizational capability and manage large change and org initiatives to ensure high-performing teams.

Up to 25% travel may be required to support business needs.

Key responsibilities include:

Drive the talent agenda

  • Provide guidance & support to leaders in aligning & executing people strategies with business objectives.
  • Integrate RTX values into business & people processes to build & sustain a culture that develops talent & fosters employee engagement.

Manage change and initiatives

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop & execute projects across the organization that support organizational effectiveness, employee experience & successful adoption of change initiatives.
  • Support managers in analyzing team structures & role responsibilities to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Provide recommendations on reporting lines, spans of control & job leveling for smaller organizational changes.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to implement workforce planning initiatives & talent mobility programs.

Build organizational capability

  • Maintain a comprehensive understanding of the business environment to proactively address challenges & opportunities.
  • Operationalize strategies to meet current and future workforce needs in alignment with organizational priorities.
  • Offer strategic insights & actionable recommendations to enhance leadership capabilities & team performance.

Support high-performing teams

  • Serve as a trusted advisor and ambassador for business leadership & employees.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship & facilitation to cultivate high-performing teams,
  • capable of navigating challenges & change. Ability to influence & guide decision making within the function.
  • Provide HR counsel & expertise to optimize business process & performance.
  • Support leaders in building effective teams by facilitating team dynamics workshops, conflict resolution & collaboration practices.
  • Activate and embed employee experience practices that enable leaders to build effective organizations aligned to business strategy. Offer guidance, support, recognition, and foster a positive work environment that enhances job satisfaction, productivity and overall organizational success.

Qualifications You Must Have:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 10 years of progressive HR experience, OR an Advanced Degree and 7 of progressive HR experience.

Qualifications We Prefer:

  • Experience as a strategic HR business partner in a manufacturing, aerospace, or defense environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to coach and influence leaders to elevate their impact.
  • Proven track record of driving HR priorities that align with business strategy.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in a complex, matrixed organization

The salary range for this role is 132,400 USD - 251,600 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
