Job description

AWS seeks an exceptional Global Principal Partner Development Manager to lead our most complex, high-stakes deal motions and strategic pursuits with Accenture, AWS's largest and most strategic consulting partner. This role demands a seasoned leader capable of operating at the highest levels of both organizations, driving transformational partnerships that generate material business impact at scale
Key job responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of the partnership's large deal origination strategy for Accenture across all markets and industry groups. Shape multi-year strategic roadmaps that align AWS and Accenture capabilities to capture market-moving opportunities and customer outcomes. As the Global Principal Partner Development Manager, you are expected to act as the large deal champion across the organization and establish a clear, repeatable, and scalable strategy for large deal origination globally. This includes driving influence and advancing business by working directly with C-level executives to structure transformational deal pursuits and orchestrate the most sophisticated deal motions that drive material customer outcomes and results for AWS.
The role requires building and maintaining trusted relationships with the most senior customer leadership and Accenture sales executives across Data & AI, industry verticals, and strategic initiatives. Represent AWS in executive forums, present strategic recommendations to senior leadership, and influence decision-making at the highest organizational levels.
Collaborate with AWS Sales, Strategic Customer Engagements, Product teams, Marketing, and Finance to deliver integrated partnership solutions. Lead cross-organizational initiatives that require alignment across multiple stakeholders, ensuring seamless execution of complex programs.
Identify emerging market trends, customer needs, and technology shifts that create partnership opportunities. Champion innovation initiatives in areas such as generative AI, data modernization, and industry-specific solutions that position AWS and Accenture as market leaders.

This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Specialists own the architectural and customer success strategy for their respective technology domains, providing the business and technical expertise to help our customers succeed. Partner teams own the strategy, recruiting, development, and growth of our key technology and consulting partners. Together they provide our customers with the expertise and scale needed to build innovative solutions for their most complex challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
- Experience relationship building and influencing at the C-level of Fortune 500 customers
- 12+ years of progressive experience in partner management, strategic alliances, business development, or sales
- Proven track record leading partnerships generating significant annual revenue or managing substantial deal portfolios
- Deep understanding of cloud computing, enterprise technology solutions, and digital transformation
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience as a founder or executive focused on related segments, or as a practice leader or business unit owner
- Experience selling to Fortune 1000 or Global 2000 organizations
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-tech company, or experience at Amazon
- Background in management consulting or professional services
- Knowledge of Accenture's organizational structure, capabilities, and go-to-market approach
- Familiarity with AWS services across compute, storage, database, analytics, AI/ML, and industry

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
