As we expand our services throughout Madison County, IL, we are looking for a motivated and driven part-time Business Development Specialist to help build relationships with referrals partners, organizations and businesses throughout the territory. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the growth of our newly-opened office, while making a meaningful impact on the lives of people within Edwardsville and the greater Madison County, IL communities.

Job Description:
As the Business Development Specialist at Synergy HomeCare of Edwardsville, you will be responsible for identifying potential referral partners and establishing long-term relationships with organizations, individuals and families who may benefit from our home care services. You will play a crucial role in increasing awareness of Synergy’s offerings in the local community, while contributing to the highest standards of care and support for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively identify and engage potential referral partners and sources within the local community.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, healthcare providers, hospitals, and other referral networks.
  • Conduct outreach efforts to raise awareness about Synergy Home Care’s services through in-person visits, phone calls, and community events.
  • Create and implement strategies to drive client acquisition and service referrals.
  • Provide educational materials and information to potential clients and their families.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding of new partners.
  • Track and report outreach activities, partner development progress, and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of proven experience and success in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably within the Madison County, IL healthcare or home care industry.
  • Positive attitude with strong communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport quickly.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Passion for helping others and making a difference in people’s lives.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
