Job description

We are looking for an experienced operations leader to join our team as an Outbound Manager. In this role, you will have responsibility for the end-to-end operations in our distribution center in Shepherdsville, KY. This includes driving continuous improvement in all areas of operation as well as monitoring and adjusting processes as needed to meet production schedules, due dates, priorities, shipping requirements, and volume peaks. Your goal will be to provide the highest quality service for our customers by establishing best-in-class processes while maintaining optimal cost structures.
YOUR TASKS
  • Active management of production, quality, and technical support area
  • Serve as a key communication link between operations and customers (internal and external)
  • Workforce Management in a temp labor environment
  • Maintain production, quality, reliability, safety, and security requirements
  • Hire, train, evaluate, and develop production management staff
  • Work Schedule: Sunday through Tuesday (6:00 am - 6:30 pm), and every other Saturday (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
  • Work Location: 2500 Export Drive, Louisville, Kentucky 40219

YOUR PROFILE
  • At least 5 years of operations experience within a multi-client supply chain and consumer products environment, including developing, motivating, and leading cross-functional teams
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
  • At least 1 year of ERP Systems experience required, SAP preferred
  • At least 1 year of computer experience using MS Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
