Job description

Outbound Marketing Manager
About Us:

At Fullbay, our mission is simple - to create safer roads for our families and yours. As leaders in the heavy-duty repair industry, we power shops with technology that helps them run smarter and more efficiently. As an AI-First company, we invite artificial intelligence to eliminate friction, spark innovation, and drive efficiencies in every conversation - for our teams and our customers.

Position Overview

Fullbay is seeking an Outbound Marketing Manager to build and run the proactive, account-based side of our marketing program. This is a new function focused on identifying high-value target accounts, designing multi-channel outbound campaigns to reach them, and partnering closely with Sales, RevOps, and Partnerships to convert named account engagement into pipeline. The role architects outbound plays across email, LinkedIn, direct mail, and field event blitzes, activates our content and data assets into targeted sequences, and owns the playbook that turns target lists into closed business. This is a strategic, hands-on position ideal for a marketer who thrives at the intersection of data, sales alignment, and creative campaign execution - someone who wakes up every day thinking about how to break into accounts that haven't raised their hand.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Account Strategy & Targeting
    • Define and maintain the target account list in collaboration with RevOps and Sales
    • Segment and tier accounts by ICP fit, intent signals, and pipeline priority
    • Work with RevOps on enrichment, data quality, and intent signal sources (e.g., RebarHQ, Clay, Crossbeam)
    • Translate intent signals into trigger-based outbound plays
  • Campaign Architecture & Execution
    • Design and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, direct mail, and phone
    • Build outbound sequences in coordination with the SDR and BDR teams
    • Develop messaging frameworks tailored to segment, persona, and play type
    • Maintain a documented outbound playbook covering list sources, cadence, sequencing logic, and messaging templates
  • Field Marketing & Event Blitz Campaigns
    • Architect multi-week blitz campaigns around field events, roadshows, and customer dinners - saturating target markets with coordinated outbound activity before, during, and after each event
    • Partner with the events team on prospect targeting, invitation strategy, and pre-event outreach
    • Track event-attributed pipeline and refine the blitz model across the event calendar
    • Identify and pursue conversation-starting hooks for sales reps that don't require leading with software
  • Partner & Association Marketing
    • Work with the Partnerships team to develop co-marketing outbound plays that leverage partner proximity to target accounts
    • Build outbound programs around industry association memberships, conferences, and member directories
    • Use ecosystem tools (e.g., Crossbeam) to surface overlapping audiences between Fullbay and partner networks
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration
    • Act as the marketing point of contact for Sales leadership on outbound strategy, performance, and target account engagement
    • Partner with PMM and content teams to activate organic assets - benchmark reports, customer stories, industry data - into targeted outbound sequences
    • Coordinate with RevOps on attribution, reporting infrastructure, and tech stack management
    • Bring forward new ideas for outbound plays, targeting strategies, and channel experiments
  • Performance & Pipeline Attribution
    • Build and own outbound attribution reporting - tracking pipeline by campaign, sequence, and account tier
    • Define and report on outbound KPIs including qualified pipeline created, named accounts engaged, meetings booked, and pipeline influenced
    • Test and iterate on messaging, targeting, and sequencing based on performance data
    • Provide regular performance readouts to marketing and sales leadership
  • AI-Driven Execution & Workflow Optimization
    • Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate:
    • Outbound copy drafting and personalization at scale
    • Account research and prospect insights
    • Campaign ideation and message testing variations
    • Use AI to support:
      • Sequence QA and quality checks
      • Copy refinement and tone consistency
      • Target list analysis and prioritization
    • Build repeatable, AI-assisted workflows to improve execution speed and consistency
    • Critically evaluate AI outputs and ensure all deliverables meet Fullbay quality standards
    • Continuously explore and implement new AI tools to improve marketing efficiency and performance
  • Adheres to all confidentiality and compliance regulations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Work Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 4-7+ years of experience in B2B SaaS marketing, with at least 2 years focused on outbound, ABM, or demand generation.
  • Demonstrated experience building or running an account-based or outbound marketing program - not just contributing to one.
  • Hands-on experience designing multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, LinkedIn, direct mail, and field events.
  • Strong understanding of ICP segmentation, account scoring, and intent-based targeting.
  • Experience with ABM and outbound tech stack (e.g., Clay, Apollo, Outreach, Salesloft, 6sense, Crossbeam, or similar).
  • Experience with Salesforce and a marketing automation platform (Marketo preferred).
  • Proven ability to partner with Sales and SDR/BDR teams on outbound execution.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with strong copywriting instincts for outbound messaging.
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, or similar) in day-to-day marketing workflows.
  • Experience using AI for:
    • Outbound copywriting and personalization
    • Account research and prospecting
    • Campaign ideation
    • Workflow automation

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to build and execute outbound campaigns that generate qualified pipeline
  • Strong analytical mindset - comfortable working from data and translating signals into action
  • Experience tiering and prioritizing target account lists across multiple segments
  • Skilled at writing outbound messaging that doesn't read like a template
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functionally with Sales, RevOps, Partnerships, and Content without losing ownership of the outbound motion
  • Leverage AI tools where appropriate to accelerate execution, while maintaining full responsibility for quality and final campaign output
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
  • Ability to operate with ambiguity and build process where little exists
  • Self-starter who takes ownership of deliverables and follows through to completion
  • Strong project management skills - able to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously
  • Can communicate clearly with stakeholders at every level
  • Hands-on experience with outbound and ABM tooling, including:
    • List building and enrichment platforms
    • Sales engagement and sequencing tools
    • Intent and ecosystem data sources
    • CRM and marketing automation platforms
  • Knows when to ask for help - but does not rely on constant direction
