Classic Granite & Marble is seeking a highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented Operations Generalist - Purchasing & Accounting to join our corporate office.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys learning new skills, staying organized, and becoming an essential part of a collaborative team. This position is designed to provide cross-functional support within our Purchasing and Accounting department by learning multiple business functions and providing backup coverage during vacations, absences, and periods of company growth.

Position Summary
The Operations Generalist - Purchasing & Accounting is a cross-functional team member responsible for supporting purchasing, import coordination, customer invoicing, and vendor invoice processing. Through comprehensive cross-training, this role provides critical backup coverage for multiple functions within the department while helping ensure daily operations continue to run smoothly.
This position offers the opportunity to develop a broad understanding of our business while becoming a trusted resource within one of our most important departments.
General Responsibilities
  • Cross-train in multiple functions within the department
  • Provide backup support during vacations, absences, and increased workloads
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Communicate professionally with coworkers and vendors
  • Assist with process improvements and special projects
  • Perform other duties as assigned

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally

Preferred
  • Experience with purchasing, bookkeeping, office administration, logistics coordination, or administrative support
  • Experience working with purchase orders, invoices, vendor documentation, or inventory transactions
  • Experience using ERP or business management software
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Supply Chain, or a related field
