Job description

Job Title: Medical Technologist I (Generalist)
Location: Tulsa, Oklahoma
Job Type: Full-Time | Direct Hire
Shift: Nights (10:45 PM – 7:15 AM, Saturday–Wednesday)
Pay Range: $27.17 – $40.76 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Relocation Assistance: $2,500

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform and report laboratory tests across multiple departments as a generalist
  • Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens with precision and efficiency
  • Interpret and correlate test results; identify and resolve discrepancies
  • Verify abnormal results using established quality control procedures
  • Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on laboratory equipment
  • Troubleshoot technical issues to ensure smooth lab operations
  • Maintain compliance with all laboratory policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care
  • Provide excellent internal and external customer service
  • Assist in training medical laboratory science students
  • Support continuous process improvement initiatives

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology or a related biological/chemical science from an accredited institution
  • Minimum 1 year of laboratory experience with high-complexity testing
  • National certification as MT/MLS or MLT (ASCP, AMT, or equivalent)
  • Strong computer skills and familiarity with laboratory information systems
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • Recent graduates with strong clinical training are encouraged to apply
