Job description

Guardian's Annuity inforce team seeks a dynamic and knowledgeable individual to join our team as an Annuity Operations Consultant. We are looking for someone with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and intellectual curiosity; enabling us to discover deeper insights into our business and identify innovative ways to accelerate growth. This individual will be responsible for supporting all facets of annuity new business administration and working with internal and external partners.

You will
  • Serve as the primary operations coordinator of Regulatory mailings (i.e. funds/prospectus/etc.)

  • Oversite and Support of Regulatory/business risk reporting (i.e. CA Annuity Consumer Protection Semi-Annual reports/Market Conduct Annual Statement reporting/LIMRA SRI Quarterly reporting/etc.)

  • Compliance oversight of the Annual Privacy Mailings and Quarterly statement review

  • Monitor/Update processing system: Early Close and Market Closing

  • Administration of Accurint for Annuities (set up/deletion and submit invoices to be paid)

  • Pricing process oversite

  • Tax reporting/oversite responsibilities as required

  • Monitor/process the Annual Purge of Records in all systems/products

  • Operate at a high level to consistently exceed quality goals and service level agreement standards.

  • Oversite of submitted incident tickets

You have
  • 5+ years' experience in the financial service industry.

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

  • Knowledge of various annuity products, including fixed, variable, and indexed annuities.

  • A consumer-centric mindset; you know what it takes to deliver personalized experiences.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Location
This is a hybrid position requiring 3 days per week in our Bethlehem, PA or Pittsfield, MA office location. You must be able to come on campus at any time, and the required number of in-office days are subject to change.
Salary Range:
$68,970.00 - $113,310.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
