Join Sandusky Goodwill and be part of a team where every sale supports job training, education, and community impact. As the E-Commerce Clerk, you will be responsible for supporting the sales of donated goods such as books, collectibles, household items, antiques, jewelry, and other items available for online auctions. Your duties will include receiving goods, posting listings, shipping items, providing customer service, and maintaining the designated e-Commerce storage and work areas.

Essential functions:

  • Source, evaluate, and select donated merchandise for online resale, including jewelry, collectibles, and specialty items.
  • Authenticate and assess merchandise value as needed.
  • Photograph, research, and create accurate product listings for e-commerce platforms.
  • Maintain inventory records and track merchandise movement between retail locations and online operations.
  • Process online sales orders, including packaging, shipping, and tracking shipments.
  • Monitor online marketplace activity and identify opportunities to maximize sales and revenue.
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries related to online sales.
  • Maintain organized workspaces and inventory storage areas.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and support a safe work environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • High School diploma or GED preferred. 
  • 2 years of clerical experience including computer applications. 
  • Knowledge of jewelry and collectibles is preferred.

  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records are essential.

  • Knowledge of computer technology, including Internet e-sales sites, and computer programs (Word, Excel), social media, and email.
