This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm until 4:30am or complete

The primary role of theWarehouse Manageris to manage theWarehouseSupervisors and their teams. The WarehouseManageris responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing all aspects of warehouse operations in a radio frequency (RF)-enabled or non-RF-enabled environment, managing warehouse personnel and ensuring compliance with company, federal and state regulations regarding safety while working with controlled substances, pharmaceuticals, and hazardous and flammable materials. This position is categorized as compliance critical and, as such, requires specific responsibility for ensuring continual and proper compliance with all division, corporate and regulatory requirements.

  • Responsible for associates in the warehouse; tracks attendance, coaches and leads associates with a view to employee growth and development, monitors performance, and manages overtime and other compensation changes.

  • Directs warehouse activities to ensure efficient and economicalutilizationof facilities for storing and distributing inventory.

  • Maintains process management, productivity measures, and quality controls.

  • Reviews, tracks and analyzes critical success measures and compares the results with the targets on a regular basis. Develops and plans for improvement in areas such as order filling errors, latedeliveriesand overall service levels. Evaluates associates' performance in achieving standards.

  • Responds to production problems by implementing solutions.

  • Enforces compliance with allappropriate policies, procedures, safetyrolesand government regulations.

  • Studies current and future needs of the company as it relates to the management of receiving, stocking, inventory, returns, shipping, and order filling; develops and recommends improvements to current warehouse practices to promote efficiency, accuracy, fasterserviceand lower costs.

  • Prepares orassistsin the preparation of the department budget andmanages tothe budget.

  • Ensures cleanliness of facility

  • Performs related duties as assigned

Education:

  • Requires broad training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computersciencesor similar vocationsgenerally obtainedthrough completion of a four-year bachelor's degree program or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Work Experience:

  • Requires 5+ yearsdirectly relatedand progressively responsible experience, including 2+ years at a supervisory level.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Ability toestablishand maintain positive working relationships with distribution center associates; foster teamwork, coach and develop employees.

  • Must be willing to work extended hours, take part in weekend on-call rotation, as needed, to meet productivity goals and provide emergency service to customers.

  • Must be willing toparticipatein physical inventory, as scheduled.

  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.

  • Good negotiating skills.

  • Good decision-making and problem-solving skills.

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations and systems,engineeredstandardsand regulatory compliance matters.

  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to meetdeadlinesand work in a production-driven environment.

  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

  • Knowledge of computers tooperateeffectively in Microsoft Office products.
