Job description

The Marion Palace Theatre is seeking an experienced, collaborative Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day internal operations of one of Ohio's historic performing arts venues.ย 


Working closely with the Executive Director, the Operations Manager supervises the Box Office, House Management, and Utility teams while administering payroll, supporting human resources processes, managing technology systems, coordinating building maintenance and repair projects, overseeing vendor relationships and service contracts, supporting organizational compliance requirements, and helping ensure the theatre's daily operations run smoothly. This position plays a key role in delivering an exceptional experience for patrons, artists, volunteers, and staff.


Management experience is required. The ideal candidate is an organized, solutions- oriented professional with strong operational and people management skills and a high level of technological proficiency. We are looking for someone who enjoys learning new software, improving systems, solving problems, questioning outdated processes, and helping our organization work smarter. Experience in nonprofit or arts administration is preferred but not required.
