Role:
Senior Commercial Operations Analyst
Location:
  • Clearsulting is headquartered in Cleveland, OH, with additional offices located in Chicago, IL; Columbus, OH; and Dallas, TX. Other cities are welcome remotely.
  • Office Options: Hybrid or Remote. Team members residing within a 45 minute commuting radius of a Clearsulting office, we expect 8 days of in-person work per month, allowing flexibility choosing these days to accommodate client meetings, team syncs and individual schedules.
  • Travel Expectations: 0-25%

What you'll do
  • Own the day-to-day commercial operations for a high-volume portfolio of opportunities within the Digital Reporting & Compliance Practice, serving as the operational point of contact across multiple concurrent sales cycles and ensuring pursuits progress efficiently from qualification through contracting and project launch.
  • Partner closely with Practice Commercial Leaders, Delivery Leaders, Finance, Legal, Marketing, and Alliance teams to proactively manage pursuit timelines, deliverables, dependencies, approvals, and follow-up actions, ensuring seamless execution and ongoing momentum across opportunities.
  • Coordinate and manage pursuit logistics including Master Service Agreements (MSAs), Statements of Work (SOWs), pricing support, purchase order setup, contracting activities, internal approvals, and client documentation.
  • Prepare pursuit materials, including proposals, presentations, pricing summaries, qualification documents, and executive meeting materials, while coordinating contributions from cross-functional stakeholders to ensure high-quality, client-ready deliverables.
  • Maintain Salesforce hygiene, ensuring opportunity stages, forecasting, notes, activities, and supporting documentation accurately reflect the current state of every pursuit.
  • Monitor and communicate pursuit status across the portfolio, proactively identifying risks, bottlenecks, and required decisions before they impact deal timelines.
  • Analyze pipeline activity, pursuit metrics, and operational trends to provide leaders with actionable insights that improve forecasting and commercial execution.
  • Support Workiva alliance initiatives, client events, and targeted business development campaigns that generate new opportunities and strengthen strategic relationships.
  • Identify and implement scalable improvements across commercial operations by streamlining processes, optimizing tools, templates, and trackers, reducing administrative burden, and creating a more efficient and effective experience for clients and internal teams.

What You'll Bring:
  • 2+ years of professional experience with commercial operations, sales operations, pursuit management, business development support, project coordination, or consulting within a professional services, consulting, or technology organization.
  • Demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent opportunities, projects, or complex workstreams while consistently meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience coordinating end-to-end commercial and contracting activities within a professional services environment, including opportunity qualification, proposals, pricing support, State of Work(SOWs), Master Service Agreements (MSAs), purchase order set-up, approval workflows, and client documentation.
  • Proven organizational and project management skills with the ability to establish structure, prioritize effectively, and proactively drive work forward with minimal direction.
  • Strong attention to detail and a high degree of ownership, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with senior leaders, clients, and alliance partners.
  • Experience working with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms, Microsoft Office, and collaboration tools to manage commercial activities and reporting.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer-sponsored visa support.

Nice-to-Haves:
  • Familiarity with Workiva or other cloud-based reporting, compliance, or finance transformation platforms.
  • Experience working with alliance or partner-led sales motions.
  • PMP, CAPM, Salesforce, or other project management or CRM certifications.
  • Experience developing commercial playbooks, pursuit templates, operational dashboards, or process improvements
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, compliance, governance, or finance transformation services.

The compensation range for this position is $60,000 - 110,000. We are committed to ensuring our offers reflect the value each candidate brings to the role. Final salary placement will be based on upon several factors, including, level of expertise, relevant work experience, technology certifications, educational background, geography and alignment with industry standards. This role is eligible for our bonus program.
