Tarlani Healthcare is seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant to join our team! This is a full time, in-office position with a schedule of Monday-Friday 9:00AM-5:30PM.

Position Summary:

The front office medical assistant provides non-clinical support to patients, clinical staff, and providers by facilitating various clerical and administrative tasks, depending on department assigned. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: triage incoming calls, update and verify patient demographics, verify insurance eligibility, schedule new and missed appointments, order patient supplies, etc. Back office experience is required. This is a full-time, in-office position.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs administrative, clerical, and operational tasks
  • Provides excellent customer service to providers and patients
  • Ensures correct demographic information is on file
  • Schedules appointments
  • Collects necessary forms and information prior to the start of a patient's care
  • Verifies insurance eligibility
  • Verify necessary documentation within a patient's chart
  • Follow up with pending items and tasks
  • Answer and triage incoming calls
  • Checks tasks and messages for daily action items from providers
  • Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hour
