Job description

Professional Search Group is seeking a Help Desk/ Microsoft 365 Administrator who combines traditional end-user support skills with a strong interest in Microsoft 365 collaboration technologies. This Help Desk/ Microsoft 365 Administrator role will provide frontline technical support while helping customers and internal teams adopt and manage Microsoft 365 applications beyond the standard Office suite.


The ideal Help Desk/ Microsoft 365 Administrator has experience supporting Microsoft Windows, Microsoft 365, and common business applications. Experience with SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, workflow automation, and other Microsoft 365 collaboration tools is highly desirable. This role supports our ongoing strategy of helping customers leverage the broader Microsoft 365 platform to improve productivity, collaboration, and business processes.


Responsibilities

Help Desk Support

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support for end users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, printer, network, and connectivity issues.
  • Support Microsoft Windows desktop and laptop environments.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and security settings within Microsoft 365 and Active Directory.
  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot business applications.
  • Document support activities, resolutions, and procedures.
  • Escalate complex issues when necessary while maintaining ownership of customer communication.
  • Participate in onboarding and offboarding activities.
  • Support mobile devices including iOS and Android platforms.

Microsoft 365 Collaboration & Productivity Solutions

  • Administer and support SharePoint Online sites, libraries, permissions, and document management processes.
  • Create and maintain Microsoft Lists to support business workflows.
  • Assist with development and maintenance of Power Automate workflows.
  • Support and create basic Power Apps applications for business process improvement.
  • Configure and support Microsoft Teams collaboration features.
  • Assist with adoption and support of Microsoft 365 applications included within E3 licensing.
  • Work with customers to identify opportunities for workflow automation and process improvement.
  • Create documentation and training materials for Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Participate in pilot projects involving new Microsoft 365 capabilities and emerging collaboration tools.

Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of Help Desk, Desktop Support, or Technical Support experience.
  • Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 10/11 environments.
  • Experience administering Microsoft 365.
  • Understanding of Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Microsoft 365 administration.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint Online administration and permissions management.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Teams administration.
  • Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Microsoft Lists.
  • Experience with Power Automate workflow creation.
