Job description

The Leidos National Security Sector has an opening for a cleared Medical Administrator who is seeking a rewarding and challenging opportunity supporting medical services for an Intelligence Community (IC) customer in Virginia. This is a position with tremendous opportunity for someone who enjoys supporting an important mission in the National Security arena.
By joining our team, you will play a vital role in contributing to the treatment patients and making a meaningful impact on the lives of our patients.
Primary Responsibilities:
  • Providing front desk/reception support
  • Answering phones and routing calls
  • Facilitating the processing of patients by coordinating their visits
  • Scheduling, managing, and disseminating personnel and patient calendars/schedules
  • Ordering lab tests requested by onsite medical personnel
  • Updating/filing electronic and paper medical records
  • Tracking and/or replying to official government correspondence
  • Providing ad hoc support to other teams as needed
  • Other general office/clerical support as needed

Required Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • US citizenship is required
  • Active TS/SCI with polygraph clearance
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Experience, Skills, and Education:
  • Experience working for/with IC and/or DoD clients
  • Experience working in a classified work setting
  • 5 year of healthcare administration experience
  • Experience and strong understanding of healthcare finance, regulatory compliance, and risk management
