What You'll Do

As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will work directly with physicians and advanced practice providers to deliver outstanding patient care. Responsibilities include:

  • Rooming patients and preparing them for visits
  • Collecting medical histories and documenting information in the electronic medical record
  • Assisting providers with dermatologic procedures and treatments
  • Administering medications and injections as directed
  • Providing patient education and follow-up instructions
  • Coordinating lab results, referrals, and medical records
  • Maintaining exam rooms, supplies, and equipment
  • Supporting efficient clinic flow and a positive patient experience

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program
  • Current Medical Assistant Certification required
  • Current CPR certification
  • Previous clinical experience preferred, but motivated new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork skills
