Job Description

Job Title:. Medical Specialists.ย 

Duration: 6+ months (possibility of extension)

Location: Franklin lakes , NJ

Duties and Responsibilities:ย 

Provide field based support to Clinical Chemistry Laboratories utilizing Client blood collection tubes.ย 

Provides product and pre-analytical process field support involving blood collection tube validation and implementation to one of three regions in US. ย 

Help drive the Client US Regional Clinical Strategy for Medical Affairs, Sales and Marketing utilizing academic credentials, clinical knowledge, and scientific expertise to collaborate with healthcare providers, academic researchers, and scientific organizations.ย 

Ensure that key opinion leaders and organizations have access to relevant scientific information, and that insights gathered externally will be communicated to key cross-functional partners internally.ย 

Requirements:ย 

BS required, Medical Technologist highly preferred; Biological Science or equivalent with 5-7 years clinical laboratory experience. 3-5 years clinical chemistry experienceย 

Post graduate business experience 3-5 yearsย 

3-5 years clinical laboratory validation experience, correlations studies, quality and regulatory experience.ย 

3-5 years of work experience in the medical device industry is also acceptable.ย 

Knowledge of excel and statistical programs

Experience in Laboratory Medicine/Clinical Pathology required. Prior experience in Clinical Chemistry or Lab Medicine or as a Clinical Lab Specialist is helpful.

Have an in-depth understanding of Laboratory Medicine, pre-analytical process, LEAN, clinical laboratory compliance and guidelines, and the current/future landscape.

Additional and Preferred Qualifications:ย 

MD or PhD (biological sciences)ย 

Travel: 30% travel, including overnight stays

Demonstrates ability to present approved scientific data to HCPs in both group and individual settings.ย 

Ability to interpret complicated clinical data.ย 

Utilization of effective communication to adjust for multiple communication styles.ย 

Ability to identify unmet medical, educational, and research needs within the medical community.ย
