Job description

Supervise the materials team to include the plant scheduler, cycle count team, and forklift drivers.

· Manage inventory control, ensuring accurate stock levels and timely replenishment

· Be responsible for working with production department regarding material control, consumption, repair, and scrap

· Work with Procurement and Production to identify and escalate any material shortages on the production floor.

· Monitor and Manage the shipping, order entry, and OTIF of Vertical integration parts.

· Monitor and Manage the Min/Max and Kan Ban levels in the Vertical Integration Warehouse

· Optimize raw material storage within the production facility.

· Monitor and drive compliance with all company policies, ERP procedures, and safety standards.

· Perform other related duties, as assigned, for the purpose of ensuring an efficient and effective work environment

A minimum of one (1) to three (3) years supervisory experience

· Good verbal, written, and interpersonal skills

· Problem-solving and decision-making skills

· Lean Daily Management background highly preferred

· Root cause Analysis background

· APICS trained preferred

· The successful candidate is expected to develop proficiency in D365 as part of their role. Prior experience is not required, but a demonstrated ability and willingness to learn and become proficient in D365 is essential

Physical Demands & Work Environment

· Must be capable of standing for entire shift and sitting for extended periods of time.

· Able to lift-up to 50 lbs.; ability to demonstrate full range of motion for reaching, bending, kneeling, and stooping.

· Will be exposed to extreme heat and cold depending on weather.

· Subject to dirt, dust, oil, welding fumes, traffic hazards, and high noise levels in the workplace
