Job description

Job Summary
Under the direction of the Vice President - Marketing, the Market Development Manager - Data Centers is responsible for leading strategic initiatives to expand HellermannTyton's presence within the data center market and adjacent ecosystems, including mechanical contractors and equipment manufacturers. This role drives market growth by identifying opportunities, developing and executing go-to-market strategies, and accelerating the adoption of innovative cable management solutions tailored to the evolving needs of data center infrastructure.
The position operates with a high degree of independence while collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to align strategy with execution and deliver measurable business outcomes. This will be achieved while maintaining HellermannTyton's Quality and EHS certifications by supporting all corporate policies, procedures, work instructions, and required documentation.
Essential Functions:
Market Strategy & Growth
  • Define and lead the North American data center market development strategy aligned with corporate growth objectives
  • Identify high-value segments, including hyperscale, colocation, enterprise, and supporting infrastructure providers
  • Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and customer requirements to inform strategic direction
  • Develop multi-year growth plans with clear targets, milestones, and KPIs

Go-to-Market Execution
  • Build and deploy go-to-market strategies to increase specification and adoption of HellermannTyton solutions
  • Partner with Sales to enable opportunity pipelines within target accounts and key verticals
  • Develop value propositions tailored to data center operators, engineers, and OEM partners
  • Drive new product developments with the innovation team and product management.
  • Support channel development, including distributors, integrators, and contractor networks

Customer & Industry Engagement
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key data center stakeholders including operators, design firms, contractors, and OEMs
  • Represent HellermannTyton in industry forums, trade shows, and customer engagements
  • Gather and translate customer insights into actionable business and product strategies

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with innovation and product management teams to influence product development based on market needs
  • Align with Marketing to drive targeted campaigns, content creation, and brand positioning within the data center segment
  • Partner with Operations and Supply Chain to ensure scalability and readiness for growth initiatives
  • Collaborate with regional and global teams to share best practices and align strategy

Innovation & Product Positioning
  • Drive adoption of innovative cable management solutions by clearly articulating technical and economic value
  • Identify gaps in current portfolio and advocate for new product development or enhancements
  • Support product launches and commercialization strategies within the data center space
