The Role
The Senior Manager, Partnerships Activation will be responsible for leading the day-to-day management, execution, and growth of Boston Legacy FC's corporate partnership portfolio. This role is focused on delivering best-in-class partner experiences, ensuring contractual fulfillment, and building long-term, value-driven relationships with club partners.
This position will report directly to the Director of Partnerships & Activation and work closely with internal departments to bring partnership concepts to life across matchdays, content, community, and brand campaigns. This is an ideal opportunity for a strategic, detail-oriented operator who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth sports environment.
Key Responsibilities
Partnership Management & Servicing
• Serve as the primary day-to-day contact for a portfolio of club partners, ensuring strong communication, responsiveness, and relationship management.
• Lead partner onboarding, including timelines, deliverables, and internal alignment.
• Maintain a deep understanding of each partner's objectives, ensuring activations align with business goals and KPIs.
Activation Strategy & Execution
• Develop and execute integrated partnership activation plans across matchdays, digital, social, content, and community initiatives.
• Lead matchday execution, including hospitality, fan fest activations, signage, PA reads, LED integrations, and on-field moments.
• Collaborate with partners to ideate creative campaigns that enhance brand storytelling and fan engagement.
Asset Delivery & Fulfillment
• Own and track all contractual deliverables, ensuring accurate and timely execution of partner assets.
• Work closely with internal teams (marketing, creative, operations, ticketing) to deliver seamless activations.
• Manage activation budgets and partner allocation banks where applicable.
Data, Reporting & Insights
• Lead partnership reporting processes, delivering post-match, mid-season, and end-of-season recaps.
• Utilize platforms such as Zoomph, ReloMetrics, and SponsorUnited to measure performance and provide actionable insights.
• Develop compelling reports that demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Partner with internal departments to ensure alignment between partnership commitments and operational capabilities.
• Collaborate with the sales team to support renewals and upsell opportunities through strong performance and relationship building.
• Participate in internal planning sessions to identify new activation opportunities tied to campaigns, theme nights, and community initiatives.
Qualifications
• 5-8 years of experience in sports partnerships, brand marketing, agency, or related fields (NWSL/Soccer/Football experience is a plus).
• Proven experience managing and activating corporate partnerships or sponsorships.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple partners and timelines simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and performance measurement.
• Familiarity with platforms such as Zoomph, ReloMetrics, SponsorUnited, or similar tools preferred.
Work Environment
• Hybrid schedule; in-office required 3 days per week.
• Weekend and evening availability required for matchdays, events, and partner activations.
