We are currently looking for a Director of Sales for Whealdon Estates by Barclay House


Primary Responsibilities of the Director of Sales:

  • Discover needs of the resident or adult child inquiring for their loved one, matching those needs to our services and unique offerings
  • Meet weekly and monthly to discuss sales objectives, variances and a plan to meet budgets.
  • Proactively identify and form relationships with the local healthcare partners to secure referrals.
  • Plan and coordinate lead generating events each month.
  • Visits and analyzes competition to understand how to sell our value differentiators.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with community and civic organization.
  • Develop marketing and public relations strategies.
  • Coordinate qualified admissions and discharges with each department.


Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Must have a caring heart, willing to serve others
  • College degree with a minimum of three years sales experience (required)
  • Two years of successful sales and marketing experience in the healthcare industry or senior living where meeting and exceeding sales goals is demonstrated (preferred)
  • Proficient in cloud based operating systems, document management portal, internet browsing, email/Outlook and Microsoft applications like Word, PPT and Excel
  • Experience in public relations and budget management
  • Demonstrated sales closing skills and experience
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Willing to work weekends and evenings as needed
  • Safe driving record and valid driver's license
