Job Responsibilities
  • Recommend the implementation of new initiatives and business opportunities for the Company under the direction of senior business development leader, or site leader
  • Provide tactical input into the business development function by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities
  • May provide strategic input into the business development function by evaluating new initiatives and business opportunities
  • Conduct market analysis and competitive activity
  • Identify and explore customer needs
  • Provide assistance in the planning, designing and implementing of business plans
  • Assist with the follow through and deployment of the Company's vision, strategies, and tactics
  • Coordinate and facilitate activities and commitments with other departments and/or functions
  • Develop and track project schedules
  • Participate/coordinate in strategic alliances and other external business relationships
  • May manage Business Development staff
  • Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization
  • Make presentations on Company portfolio of products and services
  • Attend business meetings as requested
  • Attend trade shows

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or engineering or related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Master's degree preferred
  • PE, PM experience a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, written and presentation communication skills

  • Ability to work on complex problems
  • Knowledge of Company products, markets and technology
  • Strong analytical and financial skills
  • Travel required
