Job Description:
Overview
The Junior Support Analyst provides application and operational support for equity trading platforms and related business applications. The role works closely with traders, sales teams, vendors, and technology teams to ensure production systems operate effectively.
Responsibilities

  • Monitor and support trading and middle-office applications.
  • Investigate and resolve production incidents and user issues.
  • Analyze data, logs, and reports to identify problems and trends.
  • Perform user onboarding, access reviews, and operational controls.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal technology teams to resolve issues.
  • Support system upgrades, testing, and new business initiatives.
  • Create and maintain operational procedures and documentation.
  • Participate in after-hours support rotations as experience grows.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Finance, Business Analytics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Interest in financial markets and technology.
  • Ability to learn SQL, scripting, and production support tools.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.


Nice to Have

  • Experience with databases, reporting, or data analysis.
  • Exposure to financial services, trading, or investment operations.
