Job description

This position is located in the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Assistant Secretary for Public and Indian Housing.

You must meet the following requirements within 30 days of the closing date of this announcement.

Specialized Experience: Specialized Experience for the GS-14, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-13 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
-Accessing data, identifying problems with data, cleansing data, designing data structures, data modeling and analyzing financial and programmatic data, applying analytical and problem solving techniques to identify issues and develop solutions using Oracle Apex or Java or SQL Server/.Net, MS Power Platform (including SharePoint), MS Access and SQL and PL/SQL or equivalent with thousands of users; AND
-Performing system and process analysis (i.e. researching problems, planning solutions, recommending processes, software and systems solutions, and coordinating development to meet business needs); AND
-Writing reports with commercial off the shelf (COTS) software.
Specialized Experience for the GS-13, you must have one year (full 52 weeks) of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized experience for this position is defined as:
- Assisting in accessing, scrubbing, data, modeling, developing system development using Oracle Apex or Java or SQL Server/.Net and SQL and PL/SQL or equivalent with thousands of users and analyzing financial and programmatic data and applying analytical problem-solving techniques to identify issues; AND
- Assisting in performing system and process analysis (i.e. researching problems, planning solutions, recommending processes, software and systems solutions, and assisting in development to meet business needs); AND
- Writing reports with commercial off the shelf (COTS) software.
The experience may have been gained in either the public, private sector or volunteer service. One year of experience refers to full-time work; part-time work is considered on a prorated basis. To ensure full credit for your work experience, please indicate dates of employment by month/day/year, and indicate number of hours worked per week on your resume.
Time-in-Grade: In addition to the above requirements, you must meet the following time-in-grade requirement, if applicable:
For the GS-14 you must have been at the GS-13 level for 52 weeks.
For the GS-13 you must have been at the GS-12 level for 52 weeks.
Time After Competitive Appointment: Candidates who are current Federal employees serving on a non-temporary competitive appointment must have served at least three months in that appointment.Education:This job does not have an education qualification requirement.Employment Type: OTHER
