Job description

We are looking for a detail-oriented Human Resource Manager to support HR operations in California. This position focuses on reviewing employee records for completeness and compliance while assisting with core administrative tasks that keep the department organized and responsive. The ideal candidate is comfortable handling sensitive information, maintaining accurate documentation, and providing day-to-day support across HR processes.


Responsibilities:

• Examine personnel records to confirm required documents are present, accurate, and aligned with established compliance standards.

• Organize, update, and maintain employee files while ensuring confidential information is handled appropriately.

• Assist with posting open roles on approved job boards and internal hiring channels.

• Track and update HR data in spreadsheets and related administrative records with a high level of accuracy.

• Support filing, document retrieval, and general clerical tasks that contribute to efficient HR operations.

• Coordinate hiring documentation and help monitor completion status for hiring activities.

• Provide administrative assistance related to employee benefit processes and supporting paperwork.

• Previous experience in an HR assistant, administrative support, or personnel records role.
• Familiarity with personnel file maintenance and document control best practices.
• Working knowledge of candidate screening coordination and related hiring documentation.
• Exposure to benefit administration support or HR benefits processing.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and confidence working with spreadsheets and organized data sets.
