Job description

E-logic is seeking an Entry-Level IT Professional to join our team supporting the Detroit Water & Sewerage Department (DWSD). In this role, you will work alongside E-logic and DWSD technical personnel to serve as a first point of contact for software troubleshooting, user account administration, and basic infrastructure support. This is an ideal position for a recent graduate or advanced IT student looking to gain hands-on experience in public sector IT operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of support for end-users, troubleshooting software application errors and system issues.
  • Create, configure, and maintain user accounts, access permissions, and roles.
  • Assist senior analyst teams with application testing, test case execution, and basic IT infrastructure maintenance.
  • Utilize basic SQL queries and operating system navigation to resolve daily application-level issues.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Currently in 3rd year of study or recent graduate of an accredited university program in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Basic proficiency with operating systems and basic SQL scripting.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with customer-service orientation.
