This is an entry-level position for someone eager to build a career in IT.  


As a Junior Technician at RedZone Technologies, you'll work hands-on to learn about technical troubleshooting and resolving issues pertaining to hardware, software, and networking to help client environments stay up and running. 


You’ll support the installation and maintenance of systems while growing alongside a team of experienced engineers who are ready to coach and collaborate. We’re looking for someone with drive, curiosity, and a strong interest in IT infrastructure and support. 

What You’ll Do 


Ongoing Learning 

  • Hands-on learning – technical troubleshooting, issue resolution, infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and virtualization tools. 
  • Build foundational skills to grow into a mid-level technician or engineer role. 

Technical Support & Site Visits 

  • Travel to local client locations to install, configure, and troubleshoot IT systems. 
  • Assist in resolving network and desktop issues. 

Hardware & Software Setup 

  • Assist in the installation and maintenance of routers, switches, servers, and firewalls. 
  • Work with systems from Microsoft, Cisco, VMware, and other major vendors. 

Collaborate with Experienced Engineers 

  • Learn in real time by shadowing senior team members and supporting larger projects. 
  • Build foundational skills by sharing knowledge and contributing to the resolution of technical issues with the team. 

Ticketing & Documentation 

  • Develop an understanding of ticketing processes and systems. 
  • Keep clear records of client systems, tasks performed, and troubleshooting steps. 
  • Ensure all actions are properly logged for internal reference and client transparency. 

What We’re Looking For 


Experience & Interests 

  • Strong interest in IT, technology, and problem-solving. 
  • Exposure to Microsoft environments (Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy) is a plus. 

Technical Foundation 

  • Basic understanding of networking equipment like routers, switches, and firewalls. 
  • Familiarity with troubleshooting desktops, printers, and common hardware/software issues. 
  • Experience with Microsoft tools (Windows 10/11, Exchange, Active Directory) is helpful but not required.
