General position summary:

Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities that drive revenue growth across assigned local markets, warehouses, and site level operations. Build and maintain strong referral and customer relationships while maximizing local operational capacity, increasing account penetration, and uncovering cross sell and upsell opportunities. Serve as the primary sales representative for the local market, delivering profitable revenue growth through both self-generated business development efforts and strategic customer engagement.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Own revenue opportunities within the assigned local market and territory.

  • Drive warehouse, site level, and local market revenue growth through proactive prospecting, relationship management, and opportunity development.

  • Build relationships with on-site decision makers, facility leaders, and local business stakeholders to generate new business opportunities.

  • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities across the company's service offerings.

  • Maximize utilization of local operational capacity by aligning sales efforts with available resources and market demand.

  • Increase account penetration within existing customer relationships through regular engagement and solution-based selling.

  • Partner with operations leadership to balance revenue generation objectives with service delivery capacity and customer satisfaction goals.

  • Monitor local market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to identify emerging revenue opportunities.

  • Maintain visibility within the local business community and position the company as the preferred provider for relocation and related service solutions.

  • Produce and distribute sales activity reports as required and respond to business needs within a timely manner.

  • Accountable to monthly KPI goals, measuring successful sales activity

  • Imperative to embrace and utilize the CRM platform, HubSpot, to ensure data is accurate on a daily basis, and to benefit from the sales tools available within the platform to improve closing ratios.

  • Provide best-in-class customer service, work with integrity, and strive to develop excellent working relationships with fellow employees, vendors, partners and customers.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university is preferred but not necessary; two to five years of direct sales experience; commercial moving industry experience is preferred

Language Skills:

  • Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of an organization.
