Job description

We are looking for a Compensation & Benefits Manager to support HR operations for an Information Technology organization in Denver, Colorado. This Long-term Contract position focuses on benefits administration, employment documentation, background screening coordination, and careful handling of legal correspondence. The ideal candidate brings strong organizational skills, sound judgment when managing sensitive employee records, and the ability to keep HR processes accurate, timely, and compliant.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee day-to-day compensation and benefits administration activities, ensuring employee records and related documentation remain accurate and up to date.
• Coordinate background screening processes for candidates and employees, tracking progress and following up to support timely hiring and onboarding activities.
• Prepare, review, and maintain legal and employment-related forms with close attention to detail and compliance requirements.
• Manage HR administrative tasks such as document processing, record maintenance, and response coordination for routine employee and organizational requests.
• Draft and organize formal correspondence connected to HR and legal matters, ensuring communications are clear, thorough, and properly documented.
• Support benefit program operations by assisting with enrollments, updates, employee inquiries, and issue resolution in collaboration with internal stakeholders and vendors.
• Maintain confidentiality when handling personnel information, legal documents, and sensitive employment data.
• Monitor HR workflows and recommend process improvements that strengthen efficiency, consistency, and compliance across administrative activities.• Experience supporting compensation, benefits, or broader human resources administration functions.
• Demonstrated ability to manage legal forms, employment records, and sensitive documentation with accuracy.
• Hands-on experience coordinating background checks and related pre-employment processes.
• Strong written communication skills with the ability to prepare detailed legal or HR correspondence.
• Working knowledge of benefit administration practices, including employee support and records management.
• High level of discretion when handling confidential employee information.
• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
