Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Responsibilities

  • Practice within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, following recognized clinical standards as defined by the State of Minnesota
  • Delegate, monitor, and provide resident care
  • Develop and update individualized, person-centered care plans based on ongoing assessment of medical, nursing, and psychosocial needs
  • Coordinate and oversee delegated nursing services to nursing and unlicensed staff in compliance with licensure requirements
  • Support and mentor new nursing personnel on procedures, policies, and care concepts
  • Administer medications and treatments, ensuring accurate documentation
  • Receive and provide reports on resident status and changes in condition
  • Maintain thorough and timely charting and documentation
  • Foster strong communication with families, caregivers, and relevant agencies to ensure continuity of care
  • Stay current on emergency procedures and respond appropriately in emergency situations
  • Assist with new inquiries, facility tours, and client move-ins

Registered Nurse (RN) - Assisted Living Qualifications
  • Have graduated from an accredited school of professional nursing
  • Have current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Minnesota
  • Must have a current Basic Life Support (CPR and AED) certification
  • Have at least one (1) year experience in an acute hospital or equivalent experience
  • Exhibit professional behavior and attitude
  • Demonstrates the ability to make appropriate professional judgments
  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills
  • Valid driver's license required
  • Must demonstrate leadership skills necessary to perform the responsibilities of the position
