Requirements for this Residential Manager
The successful candidate for the Full Time Residential Manager position at The Arc Chemung-Schuyler in Elmira should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, exceptional interpersonal and customer service skills, strong organizational abilities, and adept problem-solving capabilities. Strong supervisory and leadership skills, along with the ability to prioritize tasks and delegate, when necessary, are crucial for this role. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite or related software is required. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in human services or a related field with two years of supervisory experience, an associate degree with three years of supervisory experience, or a High School Diploma with five years of human service experience and three years of supervisory experience.
Previous experience in an ID/DD setting is preferred, and a valid/clean driver's license is required.
