The Expert Quality Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and continuously improving the Quality Management System (QMS). The role focuses on quality governance, standardization, and project support from Proposal phase, prequalification process throughout Engineering, Procurement, Commercial, etc. ensuring alignment with international standards and sector-specific requirements across Semiconductor, Pharmaceutical, and Datacenter projects. The position operates primarily in an office-based setting, with site visits required for Project Set up phase, audits and critical milestones.


The Expert Quality Manager is responsible for establishing, overseeing, and continuously improving quality standards across all projects and all phases, starting from Proposals, ensuring compliance with specifications, codes, regulatory requirements and Client expectations. This role conducts also audits across the Region, mentors staff and drives enhancements in the overall Quality Management System (QMS).
The Expert Quality Manager is accountable for managing the Quality program to ensure comprehensive project execution, delivering superior quality and achieving customer satisfaction.

Explore your tasks and responsibilities
  • Quality Management System: Develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and project standards.
  • Technical Documentation: Prepare and maintain quality documentation (procedures, guidelines, work instructions, Check List, etc.) ensuring standardization and compliance.
  • Support Proposals and Projects by defining quality strategies, requirements, and documentation.
  • Supplier quality processes: including prequalification and capability assessment.
  • Audits / KPI's / LL's: Plan and execute audits and monitor quality KPIs, driving continuous improvement across projects and functions. Drive lessons-learned sessions to improve future project execution.
  • Plan and perform internal audits and external audits (including site audits when required)
  • Define project-specific quality approaches and strategies during the bidding phase and provide quality-related input to contract reviews and project kick-off activities.
  • Mentor and coach QA/QC staff, at the Project set up phase.
  • Perform other duties as assigned
Show your expertise
  • Bachelor's or Master degree in engineering (the required education degree may be substituted by extensive professional experience involving similar work responsibilities and/or additional training certificates in relevant domains)
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in Quality Management in construction EPC companies
  • Multidisciplinary experience in Quality Management; Civil, Structural Steel, Mechanical, Piping, HVAC, Electrical and Instrumentation, Process, with ensuring that QA/QC activities are performed aligned with Project standards, specifications, local regulations and laws, international standards, and aligned with Client needs.

Preferred

  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification
  • Six Sigma or equivalent continuous improvement certifications
  • Experience with digital QMS platforms and data analytics tools

Essential:

  • Demonstrated experience in multidiscipline Quality Assurance and Quality Control management.
  • Quality management in complex projects with multi-national collaboration, managing risks and costs, and reporting on progress to manage projects or initiatives within the boundaries of human, system performance, quality and financial constraints.
  • Inclusive leadership (maintaining a healthy working environment), with a high level of headship to motivate results defined for the given project and to contribute to the development of needed skills.
  • Stakeholder management: building strong partnerships and working collaboratively with all Project stakeholders proactively initiating solutions-oriented proposals to reach consensus.

Desirable:

High-level strategic negotiation skills with multi-national internal and external partners, including the willingness to solicit and consider varying inputs and opinions, to make appropriate recommendations and tough decisions aligned with the Exyte project's objectives.
