MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center has an excellent full time opportunity for a Fellowship trained Board Certified or Board Eligible Cardiac Anesthesiologist to join a group located in Mason City, Iowa. North Iowa Anesthesia Associates is a group of Anesthesiologists and CRNA's that provides Anesthesia coverage for MercyOne North Iowa Medical Center, a progressive hospital and an adjacent Ambulatory Surgery Center in Mason City, Iowa. Daily work assignments and call rotation are divided between designated staff and physicians. The selected candidate will provide coverage for general cases, Cardiac, Thoracic, Vascular, Neuro, Ortho, Pediatric and OB. There is a Level 3 Trauma Center. The selected candidate will also provide oversight of CRNAs. This position will cover Cardiac surgeries and provide Cardiac call Monday - Thursday. General Weekend call will be six weekends per year and one holiday per year. Call pay for Cardiac procedures Anesthesia performed in the hospital when on call. If no Cardiac cases are scheduled during the week, the provider will be assigned general cases. Cardiac Anesthesia Fellowship required, or TEE certification accepted.
