At a Glance

Legrand has an exciting opportunity for a Learning & Development Coordinator to join the Talent, Engagement & Inclusion Team. This is a remote position.

As a member of the Talent, Engagement & Inclusion team, the role involves managing the company's Learning Management System (LMS) catalog, course assignments, registration and attendance platforms, and providing end-user support for Learning & Development (L&D) inquiries. Additionally, this position supports the planning, coordination, and execution of L&D programs. Responsibilities include managing communications, registrations, attendance, and post-program evaluations for all L&D initiatives. The L&D Coordinator also handles various reporting tasks, partners in vendor relations, assists in organizing in-person events, and continuously seeks process improvements.

What Will You Do?

Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

    Management of LMS Catalog:
    • Maintain courses (create, update, retire)
    • Assign courses
    • Manage user groups
  • Management of Registration and Attendance Platforms:
    • Maintains training calendar
    • Tracks attendance
  • End User Support:
    • Monitor user support portal and assist with end user support requests, problem resolution and questions related to company's Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Reporting:
    • Monthly reporting on learning completion data, post-program evaluations, no-show attendees, etc.
    • Generate reports as per business requests
  • Coordination, Planning, and Execution of L&D Programs:
    • Assist with communications
    • Create and manage the registration calendar
    • Track attendance
    • Conduct post-program evaluations and follow-up
  • Event Coordination:
    • Assist in coordinating and setting up large in-person events, as needed
    • Provide logistical support
    • Manage shipments, materials, and meals
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continually look for ways to improve current processes and make recommendations
  • Vendor Relations:
    • Communicate business needs with vendors on upcoming initiatives, as needed
Qualifications

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build relationships with employees and vendors.
  • Self-motivated, well organized, and thorough professional who pays meticulous attention to detail.
  • Work independently and within cross functional teams.
  • Handle logistical aspects of event coordination.
  • Utilize tools and technologies to access information, prepare and generate reports and troubleshoot issues.
  • Adaptability and problem-solving skills to manage and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Proactive in seeking improvements and efficiencies in processes.
  • 2+ years of facilitation and administration of Learning Management software with a proven track record of improving results strongly preferred.
  • Degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
  • Highly proficient in MS Office/365.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, preferred.
