Staff Development Coordinator/Infection Preventionist Opportunity at Clinton Gardens

 * Registered Nurse/RN License Required *

The Staff Development Coordinator / Infection Preventionist is responsible for leading and coordinating the facility's staff development and infection prevention programs. This dual-role position provides education, training, skills competencies, clinical observations, and quality assurance audits while also overseeing infection prevention and control initiatives to promote a safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

Skills Needed:

  • Education and Training: A passion for education, training, and employee development.
  • Leadership: The ability to lead and motivate others to follow infection prevention practices. 
  • Data Management and Analysis: Monitor, track, audit, analyze data and trends for educational opportunities.
  • Supportive Presence: Create a comforting and engaging atmosphere for our residents.

  • Communication: Support a respectful and positive work environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Indiana RN license or ability to obtain an Indiana license.
