Job Title: Vice President, Leadership Business Partner
Department: Executive
Reporting to: Chief People & Enterprise Excellence Officer
Location: East Coast preferred, with the ability to travel regularly to Brookfield, CT and Shelbyville, KY
About the Role:
Greenfield is seeking a strategic and forward-thinking Vice President of Leadership Business Partners to help shape its enterprise talent strategy and strengthen leadership across a dynamic, growing global business. In this role, you will serve as the primary HR Business Partner for the SC&I Business Unit while leading a small, high -impact team of three Leadership Business Partners supporting Renewable Energy, Distillery & Manufacturing Operations, and Shared Services. The team is intentionally lean, and success depends on the ability to create impact through influence, collaboration, and relationship -building rather than organizational size or hierarchy. As a senior advisor to business leaders, the CHRO, and the HR leadership team, you will translate business priorities into enterprise talent solutions that elevate organizational effectiveness, leadership capability, and workforce readiness.
You will partner closely with the global Centers of Excellence to ensure programs related to talent management, leadership development, performance, and organizational design are executed effectively within the business. This requires exceptional collaboration and the ability to align stakeholders around shared goals within a matrixed operating model. You will lead and develop your team of Leadership Business Partners by raising their strategic depth and enabling them to deliver consistently high -value support to their respective business units. You will also drive core leadership and talent processes, including succession planning, executive coaching, cross -business talent reviews, and organizational design work that supports growth, scalability, and performance.
A modern, systems -oriented approach to HR operations is essential in this role. You will apply strong systems -thinking capability and process optimization methodologies, such as Lean and Six Sigma, to simplify workflows, reduce manual touchpoints, and improve the overall efficiency and scalability of the people function. High fluency in HRIS and people -technology platforms will allow you to leverage data, automation, and modern tools to strengthen decision -making and improve the employee and manager experience.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned HR business partner who thrives in influence -based environments and brings deep experience in leadership development, talent strategy, and organizational effectiveness. You should be comfortable advising senior executives, guiding organizations through growth and change, and elevating the capability of the broader HR team by fostering an enterprise -first mindset. Success in this role requires strategic acumen, operational discipline, and a collaborative approach that enhances the impact of a lean HR Team.

  • Partner closely on all aspects of strategy for the business as a key member of the leadership team
  • Serve as thought leader with a strategic lens, advising on global org challenges and the people/culture implications while balancing the need to align HR strategies with regional needs
  • Align HR strategy with business unit goals for growth - including talent pipeline development, retention, employee experience and workforce planning
  • Support business development efforts

Your Experience Should Include:
  • Comprehensive HR experiences (10+yrs) with a track record of building, developing and retaining a high-performing HR function
  • Progressive HR experience with a proven track record in key functions such as talent management, performance management and business partnership
  • Track record of driving alignment from a culture and business perspective
  • Skilled in leveraging data analytics to inform strategic human resources decisions
  • Successfully implemented HR processes and systems to drive efficiency, speed and consistency across the organization
  • Experience outside of HR - such as Operations, Sales, Marketing, or Finance
  • M&A (due diligence and integration) experience
  • Experience with an operational front-line workforce and multisite leadership
  • Experience in manufacturing, chemical, food/beverage, beauty, or any highly regulated industry
  • Experience working in global organization
