About the position Inktel is seeking an innovative, results-oriented, experienced leader for the Vice President of Business Development position. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing key growth sales strategies, tactics and action plans while meeting and exceeding sales quotas in order to take our department to the next level. As Vice President of Business Development, your responsibilities will include: Prospect and build highly qualified pipeline based on developing a deep understanding of Inktel solution offerings and the business needs of the company Work collaboratively with the current BD Team to achieve high levels of productivity and excellence in solution development Develop and drive key sales strategies or initiatives Establish and maintain key customer relationships Identify where improvements can be made and develop sales plans and strategies to achieve set goals Deliver value-based solutions by developing, communicating and driving effective strategies based on valid, customer-specific value criteria Manage contracts and agreements to ensure that expectations are being established, communicated, and met Develop, maintain, and share perspectives on the competitive landscape as they relate to customer experience strategies and product/service strategies Possess a strategic understanding of multiple market spaces and leading trends to proactively identify issues/opportunities/solutions Develop strong, collaborative relationships at all levels and work closely with cross functional leaders Requirements As Vice President of Business Development, requirements are: Post-secondary degree, or certificate, with a focus in a related discipline Minimum 5+ years sales/account management experience directly in the contact center or related industry In-depth knowledge of selling strategies and methods, as well as employee motivation techniques Ability to work collaboratively with internal stakeholders Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills Work effectively within a diverse sales team Highly motivated, self-starter with strong business acumen and negotiation skills Superior organizational skills and the ability to follow through Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level Strong working knowledge of the company's products, competitive products, and the market Proven track record for sales success and hitting productivity targets Relentless pursuit of goal achievement Benefits Benefits of Working as a Vice President of Sales: Competitive salary dependent on experience, certifications, and portfolio Supplemental pay types: Bonus & Commission Pay Industry-leading medical, vision, and dental benefit plans paid by the employee + paid time off and sick time leave benefits Advanced development trainings Comprehensive well-being & resiliency approach for upskilling, mentoring, & career progression planning Amazing career growth opportunities
