Job description

Acclaim Technical Services (ATS), founded in 2000, delivers tech-enabled solutions and operational support to U.S. Federal agencies. We're an ESOP company, which means every employee is also an owner - and that shared investment shows up in our culture and in our results. ATS is consistently recognized as a top workplace in the DC area and continues to grow in the missions that matter most.
We're looking for a Vice President of Business Development w/ TS/SCI w/ Poly to lead and grow our IC pipeline out of Hanover, MD. Reporting to the SVP for Business Development, this role is ideal for a seasoned BD leader who wants true ownership - of a customer, of the number, and of the outcome. You'll build the relationships that drive the pipeline and lead the pursuits that win it.
Responsibilities:
  • Own the pipeline for a key IC customer - qualifying, shaping, and moving opportunities through gate reviews while driving overall growth
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships across government, partners, and competitors to position ATS early and ahead of the RFP
  • Lead capture on high-priority pursuits - developing win strategies, teaming approaches, competitive assessments, solutioning, and black-hat/pricing-to-win decisions
  • Translate customer mission needs into clear, differentiated solutions in close partnership with technical SMEs
  • Provide hands-on leadership for major proposals - from strategy and storyboard through submission - ensuring the capture plan and solution is applied

What you bring:
  • 10+ years of federal BD and capture experience with a strong track record of qualifying pipeline and winning new business
  • Established Intelligence Community relationships and the credibility to engage at senior levels
  • Direct experience leading capture and stepping in to run strategic proposals when needed
  • A background in shaping technical solutions with SMEs on complex pursuits
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; current customer badge access strongly preferred
  • Shipley capture certification or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in business, a technical field, or similar
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours when pursuits demand it

Why ATS:
As an employee-owner, your impact directly builds your equity. You'll operate with the autonomy of a boutique and the access of a trusted prime, all within a culture centered on accountability, teamwork, and shared success.
