About the role
Title: VP of Business Operations
Function: Operations
Reporting: CEO
This is a step-up role for a high-slope operator ready to work at VP altitude, directly alongside the Founder & CEO. You will be the CEO's operational force multiplier: in the room for the meetings that matter, converting decisions into action items, and driving follow-through across executives, functions, and geographies until things are actually done.
Equally, you will own the company's data enablement agenda - building the instrumentation, metrics, and operating cadence that make LeapXpert a genuinely data-driven company. This is not a reporting job or an analyst job. You will get your hands dirty designing dashboards, defining metrics, wiring up data pipelineswith modern AI tooling, and then using that data to unify processes and hold stakeholders accountable, with the CEO's explicit backing.
The right person sees this as a career-defining accelerant: unusual access, unusual scope, and direct exposure to how a PE-backed, category-leading company is run.
Why This Role
  • Direct, daily partnership with a founder CEO scaling a category leader post-growth-round
  • A genuine step-up: VP scope and visibility for someone ready to grow into it fast
  • License to build - the data and process foundation you create becomes how the company runs
  • Front-row seat to strategy, M&A, board dynamics, and AI-native company building

What you'll do
  • Extend the CEO's reach
    • Join CEO meetings across leadership, product, GTM, and board-adjacent workstreams; capture decisions and action items; own follow-up to completion across all roles and time zones
    • Run the operating cadence: weekly leadership rhythms, cross-functional syncs, offsite follow-through, and escalation when commitments slip
    • Prepare briefs, pre-reads, and decision documents so the CEO's time is spent deciding, not chasing
  • Build the data-driven operating system
    • Design and drive company-wide data instrumentation: a CEO dashboard, company velocity metrics, and function-level KPIs that leaders actually use
    • Partner with R&D, GTM, Finance, and People to define metrics, establish data hygiene, and close instrumentation gaps
    • Personally prototype and ship internal tooling using AI-native workflows (Claude, agents, automation) - you build first, delegate second
  • Unify process and drive accountability
    • Standardize how initiatives are proposed, approved, tracked, and reviewed across a multi-geography organization
    • Own stage-gate and program governance for cross-functional initiatives, from regional deployments to transformation programs
    • Surface misalignment and blockers early, and resolve them - diplomatically where possible, directly where necessary
  • Accelerate AI-native transformation
    • Champion and operationalize the company's AI proficiency standard across senior leadership
    • Identify workflows across the company that should be re-built AI-first, and drive the change

What You Bring
  • 6-10 years of experience with clear evidence of a steep trajectory: startup operating experience (BizOps, Chief of Staff, strategy & ops, founder, or top-tier consulting followed by an operating role)
  • AI-native with proof points - you don't just talk about AI; you can show tools you've built, workflows you've automated, and measurable outcomes. Fluency with modern AI tooling (LLMs, agents, code generation) is a hard requirement
  • Deep conviction in data-driven decision-making, with hands-on skills to match: SQL and/or modern BI, comfort with data modeling, and the ability to build dashboards yourself rather than filing tickets
  • Exceptional follow-through: you are the person who never drops a thread, and people trust that what you track gets done
  • High EQ and low ego - you'll be carrying the CEO's mandate across senior leaders, which requires influence, tact, and the confidence to hold people accountable without formal authority
  • Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and a global operating rhythm (early/late calls across US, Israel, and APAC time zones)
  • Bay Area-based, with willingness to travel to company hubs and offsites.

Nice-to-have
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, fintech, regtech, or other regulated-industry software
  • Exposure to PE- or growth-backed environments and board-level operating cadences
  • Program management of M&A integration, transformation, or company-wide change initiatives

Our values
  • Curiosity: We're curious and future-focused.
  • One Team: We're one team, in many colors.
  • Customer-Driven: We're obsessed with the customer.
  • Integrity: We don't compromise on integrity.
  • Excellence: We exemplify excellence.
