Novatech, The Managed Office Provider, delivers a comprehensive portfolio of IT, Print, Cloud, and Security solutions nationwide. As we continue our growth, we are seeking an exceptional operational leader to help strengthen our foundation, improve execution, and position the business for continued expansion.
Reporting to the President of Office Technology, the Vice President of Business Operations will lead an approximately 90-person organization spanning sales support, contracts, leasing, billing, procurement, supply chain, and logistics. This executive leadership role owns critical operational functions that support the full customer and revenue lifecycle, from quote through delivery, billing, and recurring revenue services.
This is an opportunity for a proven operational leader who thrives on improving processes, developing talent, driving accountability, and building scalable business operations that support growth, profitability, and customer experience.
The OpportunityThe Vice President of Business Operations is responsible for ensuring the operational engine of the business performs efficiently, consistently, and at scale.
The successful candidate will lead teams that directly impact sales productivity, order fulfillment, customer experience, revenue realization, and operational performance. This individual must be comfortable leading organizational change, improving business processes, implementing operational discipline, and partnering closely with Sales, Finance, and Executive Leadership.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide strategic leadership across sales support, contracts, leasing, billing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, and related operational functions
  • Establish performance expectations, operating rhythms, and accountability across the organization
  • Partner with executive leadership to support growth, profitability, customer experience, and operational excellence
  • Lead the teams responsible for quoting, deal setup, order entry, and sales administration
  • Improve responsiveness, accuracy, service levels, and execution consistency
  • Streamline workflows and reduce administrative burden for the sales organization
  • Partner with Sales Leadership to improve execution from opportunity through fulfillment
  • Lead process redesign, automation initiatives, and business transformation efforts
  • Implement scalable workflows across CRM, ERP, billing, leasing, and operational systems
  • Simplify complexity, eliminate inefficiencies, and improve operational performance
  • Drive adoption of new processes, systems, and operating standards
  • Own execution across procurement, inventory, logistics, installation, billing, and revenue realization
  • Establish KPI ownership, dashboards, and operational reporting
  • Improve purchasing effectiveness, inventory performance, fulfillment efficiency, and revenue capture
  • Lead vendor management, sourcing, and demand planning activities
  • Oversee contract administration, approvals, revisions, and exception processes
  • Lead leasing operations, partner relationships, funding processes, and program performance
  • Improve billing accuracy, collections effectiveness, and recurring revenue processes
  • Lead, coach, and develop director-level and manager-level leaders

  • Experience leading multiple operational functions, including sales support, contracts, billing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, customer operations, or related areas
  • Proven track record of leading business transformation, process improvement, automation, and operational change initiatives with measurable results
  • Strong financial acumen, including experience managing operational performance, profitability, margins, and cost control
  • Experience leading and developing director-level and manager-level leaders
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and cross-functional leadership abilities
  • Must reside within the Nashville, Tennessee area
  • Must be able to regularly work from and commute to the Nashville office
  • Ability to travel up to 25% as business needs require

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience within office technology, managed print services, equipment leasing, technology services, business services, distribution, or related industries
  • Experience with leasing programs, recurring billing, contract administration, and vendor management
  • Experience working with CRM, ERP, billing, and leasing platforms
  • Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Operational Excellence, or similar continuous improvement methodologies
