Job description

Job Title

The North American Solution Delivery Selling & Store Operations Team is responsible for managing Front and Back of Stores solutions within Client IT.

The organization delivers capabilities to the stores that enrich the Customer and Associate experience and provide business value.

We seek a motivated, talented, expert Engineer to help guide the lifecycle of these capabilities through planning, design, and delivery within Back of Stores modernization strategy.

In this role you will be responsible for developing the technology associated with the Workforce Management (operations, productivity, product flow, etc.) solutions for a cross functional set of North American and Europe users.

Using your Engineering mentality, you will help deliver solutions to our rapidly growing US, Canadian and Europe partners.

In this role, you will work in the Workforce Management scrum team, a part of the Global Back of Stores Agile Release Train.

You will help design, configure and develop features and services enabling key business priorities for optimal business value.

You will own the technology aspect for Global Workforce Management systems: Kronos Workforce Central, UKG Pro WFM, helping develop the integrations, monitoring the integrations, configuring the system etc.

You will work in a fast-paced environment which will challenge you to think creatively and exhibit an agile mentality.

All the solution delivery work will be done within the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

Requirement & Qualifications

Our ideal candidates will have primarily software engineer and core engineering experience with UKG Pro WFM, APIs, and SaaS experience to help further support the Workforce management modernization, one who is familiar with the challenges of SaaS, and developing Integrations using Boomi platform as we continue to modernize our back of stores landscape.

Minimum Qualifications (Requirements)
  • 5-10 years as a Software Engineer or Application Developer
  • UKG Pro WFM experience (required)
  • Integrations build using UKG Boomi (required)
  • Kronos Workforce Integrations Manager (WIM) and UKG Pro (required)
  • 3+ years of Developing & Testing applications using UKG Workforce
Preferred Qualifications
  • Management/Center, Workforce central, UKG Pro WFM Time & Attendance, Schedule Optimization, ATK etc., applications
  • 3+ SaaS/Cloud Practices
  • 2+ Knowledge of Middleware Technologies like Boomi, Apigee, MOVEit Automation, etc
  • 2+ years of experience developing applications using databases ex., Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, CosmosDB etc.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence etc.
  • 3+ Experience with Object-Oriented Design (OOD)
  • Knowledge of Oracle HRIS, Workday etc., with respect to integrating with UKG Time & Attendance systems
  • Knowledge and Experience with Retail business process
  • Knowledge of Agile and DevOps tools such as Git/Gitlab, SonarQube, JIRA, Confluence etc.
Responsibilities
  • Write efficient code, review, assist other engineers with troubleshooting, debugging etc.
  • Act as a Engineer in modernizing back of stores systems by developing, testing etc.
  • Work closely with Solution Engineer, Product and Stores Engineering teams to estimate, design, code, deploy and support working software components
  • Contribute to the overall back of stores roadmap, new technology etc., and responsible for the evaluation, demo of the new technology and the solution
  • Adhere to the corporate security compliance, performance etc., ensure platform is built with High Availability, Recoverability etc.
  • Good problem-solving abilities when working on complex technical problems
  • Develop constructive and collaborative working relationships with peers inside and outside of the IT organization, and maintain them over time
  • Develop and carry out standards and tools to increase organization effectiveness
  • Drive continuous improvements in process and operational efficiency by reducing operational burden.
