Position Overview:
The Human Resources Assistant is primarily responsible for maintaining the HRIS - UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready system. Providing administrative support to the HR Manager with all HR processes, hiring, I-9, E-Verify processing, employee leaves of absence, employee maintenance, Time and Attendance and benefits enrollment in UKG/Kronos Workforce Ready, and general HR administration. Provides administrative support to the Recruiting, Accounting and Payroll departments. Reports directly to the Human Resources Manager.
Assigned Responsibilities:
The primary responsibility of the HR Assistant will be Kronos/Workforce Ready Management and will oversee the following:
  • Maintaining the UKG Modules being utilized and implement use of others
  • Workflow maintenance and implementation for many types of manual processes and notifications set up for payroll and benefit purposes
  • Managing open enrollment and updating all benefits & TPA's
  • Maintaining 90-day performance evaluations and annual reviews
  • Maintain onboarding streamlined processes for newly hired candidates
  • Provide UKG/Kronos training via PowerPoint and live sessions
  • Updating employee changes in Kronos and Adaxes (the IT platform)
  • Management of time off and timesheets in Kronos
  • Running I9s, through E-Verify for new hires
  • Kronos Help Desk
    • Provide various reports for Managerial staff
    • Assist employees with UKG/Kronos employee changes, issues, time off overrides, benefits questions

Other duties include the following:
  • Assisting the HR Manager with facilitating new hire orientation
  • Vouchering Vendor Billing
  • Case management/troubleshooting in UKG/Kronos, data feeds, etc.
  • Crosschecking 401K deductions, distributing quarterly eligible paperwork via Kronos and ensuring all forms are complete
  • Collecting EEO information from trades new hires packets for yearly federal reporting and running EEO reports
  • Assist with maintaining accurate employee HR and Benefit files

Requirements
  • Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Human Resources/Business Administration preferred.
  • Minimum 1- 3 years Human Resources experience with UKG/ Kronos Workforce Ready HRIS System is a must
  • Experience with benefits coordination strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail is a must with ability to multi-task.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint) is required, and strong understanding of confidentiality is a must.

Salary Range:
$60,000-$75,000
