Job Title: HR Coordinator

Industry: Healthcare

Location: Chicago, IL - Southside

Assignment Type: Contract (2–3 Months, with potential for extension)

Pay: $24.00–$29.00/hour

Work Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | 100% Onsite

Addison Group is partnering with a respected healthcare organization to hire an HR Coordinator to support a large operations team. This is an excellent opportunity for an organized HR professional who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, managing employee records, payroll support, and workforce reporting.

 

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an HR Coordinator to provide administrative and HR support for a large employee population within an operational department. This role will focus heavily on timekeeping, payroll support, HR record management, reporting, and employee assistance while partnering closely with department leadership. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage employee timekeeping records using UKG/Kronos and ensure timecards are accurate and submitted on schedule.
  • Process timecard corrections and maintain attendance records for a large employee population.
  • Assist with payroll-related activities by reviewing attendance, missed punches, overtime, and leave balances.
  • Generate reports and analyze workforce data using Microsoft Excel.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding timekeeping, payroll, and HR-related questions.
  • Support onboarding activities and provide guidance on timekeeping procedures for new employees and leaders.
  • Track employee leave, bereavement, attendance, and other HR-related records while ensuring policy compliance.
  • Maintain confidential employee information and HR documentation with a high level of accuracy.
  • Partner with department leadership to support daily HR operations and special projects.
  • Provide additional administrative and HR support as business needs require.

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Human Resources, Payroll, Administrative Support, or a related field.
  • Hands-on experience with UKG/Kronos timekeeping software a must.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including reporting and spreadsheet management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience supporting a large employee population is a plus.
