Job Brief: We are seeking a skilled and passionate Sushi Chef to join our team at Yamashiro Hollywood. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality sushi dishes with precision, creativity, and attention to detail. You will work collaboratively with our culinary team to deliver an exceptional dining experience to our customers.
Responsibilities:



  • Prepare a wide variety of sushi dishes, including nigiri, maki, sashimi, and specialty rolls, according to established recipes and presentation guidelines.

  • Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients by inspecting and selecting the finest seafood, vegetables, and other necessary components.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.

  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to plan and execute sushi menus that cater to diverse customer preferences and dietary restrictions.

  • Demonstrate excellent knife skills and precision in the preparation and slicing of fish and other ingredients.

  • Stay updated on current industry trends and techniques to continuously enhance and innovate our sushi offerings.

  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and assist in placing orders to maintain a sufficient supply of ingredients and equipment.
