Starting Salary: $49,000
Job Purpose
The Junior Project Manager is responsible for strategic oversight and operational excellence within warranty processes. By analyzing workflows, making data-driven decisions, and leading process improvements, this role drives increased efficiency, accuracy, and profitability in warranty operations.
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Leads by example to achieve BG's vision and Core Values.
  • Adheres to company policies and presents a professional, positive attitude at all times.
  • Make critical decisions to streamline warranty submission workflows, minimizing delays and reducing operational costs.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies or gaps in current processes and implement strategies to optimize performance and profitability.
  • Ensure warranty queues are managed effectively, addressing bottlenecks promptly to maintain compliance with deadlines.
  • Document and communicate workflows to ensure smooth adoption across teams.
  • Direct and mentor the Remote Support Specialists, delegating tasks effectively to support department objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align operational strategies with broader organizational priorities.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting DMS integration challenges (e.g., CDK, Reynolds and Reynolds, Dealertrack).
  • Provide backup support to Warranty Analysts and related programs, ensuring seamless operations during peak periods.
  • Assume additional responsibilities for special projects or critical initiatives as assigned by senior leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree ( B.A., B.S.) in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field strongly preferred.
  • Minimum of one to two (1-2) years in warranty operations, project management, or a related role.
  • Proven experience in leading operational improvements that resulted in measurable efficiency or profitability gains.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
