Summary
Project Manager II is a senior-level project management professional responsible for independently leading complex, cross-functional projects within the Digital & Technology Portfolio. This role partners with Applications, Data & Integrations, ERP Team, Operational Technology, IT Operations, Business teams, and external vendors to define project strategy, manage risk, and deliver high-impact initiatives. Project Manager II operates with minimal oversight, manages projects with ambiguous or evolving requirements, and engages executive-level stakeholders. This role also contributes to the maturity of project management standards, mentors junior project managers, and supports vendor and contract management. This position supports multiple business areas within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Independently lead complex, cross-functional projects from initiation through closure, owning project strategy, approach, and delivery outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project artifacts as defined in the Project Delivery Playbook
  • Conduct cross-functional meetings to confirm requirements and drive alignment across stakeholders.
  • Manage projects with ambiguous, evolving, or competing requirements - proactively identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies.
  • Own vendor and contractor relationships for assigned projects, including coordination of SOWs, deliverables, and escalations.
  • Lead change management planning and execution for system implementations and business process changes.
  • Manage project budgets, track spending against forecasts, and report financial status to leadership.
  • Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of PM delivery standards, templates, and governance practices.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to Project Manager I resources on methodology, artifacts, and stakeholder management.
  • Facilitate the adoption of new systems and business processes across the organization.
  • Manage multiple concurrent initiatives of moderate-to-high complexity.

Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field
  • 3 - 5 years of PM Experience (Manufacturing Environment Preferred)
  • Experienced in Waterfall, Hybrid, and Agile Methodologies
  • PMP Certification Highly Preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, including the ability to present to executive-level audiences.
  • Intermediate project management skills with demonstrated ability to independently lead complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to evaluate information/data to make technology and process recommendations related to assigned projects.
  • Proven ability to manage ambiguity, competing priorities, and evolving requirements.
