We are designing the grid of the future!
We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team. The ideal candidate will support in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable cloud infrastructure using Terraform, cloud automation, Kubernetes, and AWS. This role focuses on maintaining availability, security, and performance of our systems while contributing to automation and infrastructure-as-code best practices under established standards and guidance.
Responsibilities

  • Infrastructure as Code: Implement, update, and maintain infrastructure using Terraform to provision and manage AWS resources in alignment with existing patterns and standards.
  • Cloud Automation: Contribute to automation for deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud-based applications, helping reduce manual effort and improve reliability.
  • Kubernetes Management: Deploy, manage, and support containerized applications running in Kubernetes environments, assisting with scaling, availability, and operational stability.
  • AWS Experience: Configure and support AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, EKS, Lambda) to support business applications.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable rapid and reliable software delivery.
  • Monitoring and Incident Response: Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions (e.g., Datadog, CloudWatch, Prometheus, NewRelic) to ensure system health and respond to incidents.
  • Security and Compliance: Apply established security best practices, including IAM roles, networking rules, and secure configurations, while working within compliance guidelines.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 3-5 years of DevOps, cloud, or infrastructure engineering experience, with hands-on exposure to AWS and infrastructure-as-code tools.
  • Terraform: Working experience writing, organizing, and optimizing Terraform modules for complex infrastructure.
  • Kubernetes: Practical experience supporting Kubernetes workloads and understanding core concepts such as pods, services, and deployments
  • AWS: Hands-on experience with AWS services, including VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFormation, and EKS.
  • Automation Tools: Proficiency in scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
  • Containerization: Expertise in Docker and container orchestration with Kubernetes.
  • Monitoring: Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, or CloudWatch.
  • Security: General understanding of cloud security best practices, including encryption, IAM, and network security.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.
  • Communication: Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications
  • AWS certification (Associate-level preferred)
  • Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with GitOps practices and GitOps concepts.
  • Basic exposure to managed databases (e.g., RDS, DynamoDB, PostgreSQL).
