We are currently working with a family-owned manufacturing company seeking a CNC Programmer to join their Madison, WI location. Our client is a family-owned manufacturer, who is known for their strong culture and long-tenured workforce, that has been serving customers for nearly 50 years.What's the role?The CNC Programmer is responsible for interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD/CAM files to create accurate CNC programs that support high-quality manufacturing operations. This role works closely with machinists, engineers, and cross-functional teams to develop, test, and optimize machining processes while ensuring efficiency, precision, and quality standards are met. In this role, you'll develop and optimize G-code programs for multi-axis machining centers, select appropriate tooling and fixtures, perform first-piece quality inspections, and troubleshoot machining issues. You'll also help improve manufacturing processes, reduce cycle times and scrap rates, maintain program documentation, and support new product introductions and prototype development.
