at Giovanni’s Italian restaurant we don’t just welcome guests. We create an unforgettable arrival.  we are seeking polished, poised and hospitality driven Host or Hostess who understands that the front door sets the tone for everything that follows.

at the first and last point of contact, our Host/Hostess is responsible for delivering a warm, elegant and seamless guest experience. This role requires grace under pressure, strong organization and a genuine passion for hospitality.  

your key responsibilities include but not limited to

greet every guest with warmth, professional professionalism, and a genuine smile

manage reservations and walk-ins with efficiency and attention to detail.

maintain a smooth and organized seating flow during busy service periods

communicate clearly with servers management and kitchen staff

escort guest to their tables while creating a welcoming, upscale atmosphere

handle guest inquiries, special requests and concerns with care and urgency.

maintain a clean organized and visually appealing Host stand and entrance.

thank and acknowledge guest as they leave ensuring a lasting impression

your qualifications should include strong communication and interpersonal skills along with the ability to multitask in a fast paced high volume environment, all while staying professional, calm, and composed.

prior restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, but not required as you should have a sense of hospitality and attention to detail.
