Job description


Aramark is seeking a dynamic Manager of Internal Communications with exceptional writing and editing skills and a passion for strengthening employee engagement. Reporting to the Director of Internal Communications, this role plays a key part in shaping how employees connect with our mission, our leaders, and one another. The ideal candidate is a versatile communicator who thrives in a fast-paced environment, brings strong editorial judgment, and is energized by creating content that informs, inspires, and unifies a global workforce.
This role partners closely with the Corporate Communications team and cross-functional leaders to support companywide communication strategies, develop compelling content, and ensure consistent, high-quality messaging across all internal channels.
Job Responsibilities
Content Creation & Editorial Excellence
• Write, edit, and produce clear, engaging, and on-brand content for internal channels, including leadership messages, intranet articles, internal social media posts, and interviews.
• Maintain fresh, relevant daily content on myAramark (intranet), Viva Engage, and other internal platforms.
• Ensure all content adheres to style, tone, and quality standards while meeting deadlines with urgency and precision.
• Develop talking points, FAQs, and supporting materials with minimal supervision.
• Partner with others on the internal communications team to contribute to and manage the content calendar.
• Adhere to Aramark's internal communications style guide and support enforcement of its standards.
Employee Engagement & Program Support
• Support companywide internal communications initiatives that drive employee engagement, connection, and retention.
• Assist in planning and executing employee engagement events and campaigns.
• Assist with developing content, refining messaging and promoting activities of Global Inclusion team and Employee Resource Groups (ERGs).
• Model and promote Aramark's core values.
Strategic Communications & Collaboration
• Partner with Internal Communications colleagues to develop key messages, themes, and campaigns tailored to specific audiences.
• Coordinate timing and alignment of messaging across enterprise platforms to ensure a cohesive internal narrative.
• Support functional and divisional teams in communicating important news, policies, and updates to employees.
• Build strong relationships across Corporate Communications and other business functions to ensure alignment and effective execution.
Analytics & Continuous Improvement
• Monitor communications metrics to measure reach, engagement, and impact of messaging.
• Translate analytics into insights that inform future content strategy and channel optimization.
• Demonstrate flexibility, creativity, and resilience in adapting strategies to meet evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Required
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 4-6 years of experience in a corporate communications or related environment.
  • Strong journalism or editorial background with mastery of grammar, punctuation, and style guides.
  • Proven ability to write and edit high-quality content quickly, clearly, and independently.
  • Experience using a variety of communication vehicles (social, digital, visual, print, face-to-face) to reach diverse employee audiences.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in proofreading, editing, visual asset management, and digital communication technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft content management systems and email marketing software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Comfort working and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.

Preferred
  • Experience working in or supporting organizations with a global footprint, remote workforce, and diverse employee groups.
  • Familiarity with Google Analytics, email marketing analytics, and survey tools to measure content performance.
  • Basic technical knowledge of online publishing.
  • Innovative thinking and a passion for exploring new communication channels and approaches.
